Privacy policy
Who is responsible
I am responsible for the use of your data on this website: Capucine Charria, sole trader (entrepreneuse individuelle, EI), working under the artist name Capucine Frecciani.
- Address: 5 avenue du Bassin, Pyla, 33115 La Teste-de-Buch, France
- Email: contact@capucinefrecciani.com
I only use your data for the purposes described below. I do not sell it or rent it out.
Your data, why, and for how long
I only collect what each purpose requires.
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis | Retention period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private list | Email address, website language, where you signed up from (Instagram, card, advertising…), date and proof of your consent | Your consent, given by ticking the box | Until you unsubscribe, in one click from any email. If I have had no contact from you for three years, I remove you from the list |
| Contact form | Name, email, organisation, type of request, message | Replying to your request | Three years after our last exchange |
| Orders | Name, email, delivery address, phone number if you give it, work and copy number, exchanges about the order | Performing the sale, and my legal obligations (accounting, guarantees, right of withdrawal) | For the duration of the order and its guarantees; invoices for ten years, as required by law |
| Audience measurement and advertising | Pages viewed, device, browser, approximate location, cookie identifiers; for Meta, your actions on the website (sign-up, start of checkout, purchase) | Your consent, given in the cookie banner | Cookies: thirteen months at most. Google Analytics data: fourteen months at most. Meta keeps them under its own policy |
| Website security | IP address and pages requested, in the server logs | The security and proper functioning of the website | A limited period, set by my hosting provider |
Your card number is entered directly with my payment provider: I never have access to it.
Buying a work does not add you to the private list. You are only on it after ticking the box.
Who receives your data
Only these recipients have access to it, each for its own role and nothing else.
| Recipient | Role |
|---|---|
| My email service provider, whose servers are in the European Union | Sending the private list emails |
| My payment provider | Payment for orders |
| The printer and the carrier | Making and delivering your print, with your name, address and phone number |
| My hosting provider | Hosting the website |
| My form and email tools | Receiving your messages |
| Google and Meta, only with your consent | Audience measurement and advertising (see “Cookies”) |
| My accountant | Bookkeeping |
Some of these providers are based in the United States. These transfers are covered by the Data Privacy Framework, the data protection framework between the European Union and the United States recognised by the European Commission, or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can ask me for the details by email.
For the data collected by the pixel, Meta and I are joint controllers for its collection and transmission. What Meta does with it afterwards falls under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and audience measurement
Only with your consent. Two tools set cookies, and only if you accept them in the banner:
- Google Analytics, to measure visits to the website;
- the Meta pixel, for advertising on Instagram and Facebook, and to know whether an advert led to a sign-up or a purchase.
Declining is as easy as accepting, and changes nothing about your visit. Without consent, none of these tools is loaded. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of each page.
No consent needed. The website also keeps two convenience settings in your browser, with no measurement or sharing: the language chosen with the FR / EN button, and whether you have closed the private list announcement or joined the list.
Your rights
At any time, you can:
- access your data, and have it corrected or deleted;
- restrict its use, or object to it;
- receive it in a readable format, to pass it on elsewhere;
- withdraw your consent, without affecting what was done before;
- tell me what you would like to happen to your data after your death.
For the private list, the simplest way is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. For everything else, write to me at contact@capucinefrecciani.com: I reply within one month at most.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.
