The work
Two photographs become one, and somewhere between them a third story appears.
I work with double exposure in post-production, layering fragments of places, cultures, architecture and moments of life. I photograph intuitively, I collect, and then I let these fragments meet, sometimes by design, sometimes by chance, by trial, by instinct. What interests me is the moment when recognition gives way to imagination: when you look at an image and begin to find another place in it, another memory, another story.
